Membership runs for twelve months from the date you join, not the calendar year. Included days do not roll over, because a car that sits waiting for somebody's unused allowance is a car nobody is driving.
Priority, mainly. Nine cars and sixty eight members means the good weekends in June are spoken for early, and the booking window is the difference between the Lampo Spider and a polite apology.
After that it is the small things. A halved excess. Delivery to Scotland at no charge. Somebody who knows that you like the Ravenscourt in the wet and will tell you when the tyres have just been changed.
Yes. Membership runs twelve months from whenever you join, and included days are pro rated only if you join with fewer than three months left in a season. Nobody has ever objected to that arrangement.
There are twenty seven places and at the time of writing two are open. It is not artificial scarcity, it is arithmetic: thirty included days each, across nine cars, is about as far as the diary stretches before the level stops meaning anything.
A named partner is included at Keyholder and Curator level on the same licence terms. Beyond that, additional drivers are £250 a hire. We do not allow the membership itself to be lent out, which we hope is obvious.
You lose them, and we would rather you did not. If you reach October with days unused, we will call you and suggest somewhere to go. That call has produced some of the best weekends our members have had.
Nobody should join anything having only seen photographs. Come to Motcomb Street, or to Enstone if you would rather see them being worked on.
Cars are prepared for three days before every handover, so the earliest date shown is seventy two hours out.
