Twelve taps, 120 seats, one railway arch. The beer travels four metres from tank to glass and you can watch it not travelling the rest of the week.

Bank holidays: Sunday hours. Christmas: ask the dog, he decides.
Finding the arch.
Arch 23, Percival Works, Attercliffe, S9 3QD. Ten minutes on the tram from the city centre to Attercliffe stop, then follow the viaduct until you smell malt.
Cycle racks outside, step-free entrance, and a train overhead every twenty minutes. You stop noticing after the second pint; the dog never notices at all.

Food
A rotating street food residency runs Friday to Sunday. Currently: Smash It burgers, until the end of August.
You can bring your own food any time the kitchen is quiet. We will even lend you a fork.
Dogs
Welcome everywhere except behind the bar, and that is only because of the glassware. Water bowls, biscuits, one resident lurcher called Bramble with strong opinions about crisps.
Kids
Welcome until 7pm with an adult in charge. Colouring stuff behind the bar, and the canning line window is better than television.
Access
Step-free from street to seat. Accessible loo, lowered bar section, large-print tap lists. Quietest slots: Thursday and Sunday afternoons.

The core six always. The rest of the board rotates through one-offs, collabs and a couple of guest lines from breweries we rate. Cask on the handpull at weekends.
Thirds, halves, pints, and four-third flights on a steel tray for £9. Growler fills for the road.
