The taproom sits right next to the tanks, so the beer travels about four metres before it reaches your glass. Long tables, proper glassware, street food most weekends, and a train rumbling overhead every twenty minutes.
Open Thursday to Sunday. Dogs welcome. Kids until 7pm.

A wolfpit is a medieval trap: a deep hole, a baited stake, a lot of patience. When Dana and Joe cleared out Arch 23 in 2016 they found a brick-lined void under the floor, three metres deep, no explanation. The name stuck before the floor did.
Ten years on there are fourteen tanks in the arch and the hole is still there, under a steel plate, beneath tank seven.
