Pit Pale

The beer we brew most and think about least. Citra and Mosaic doing their thing over a clean extra pale base, at a strength that lets you have a third.

Pit Pale can on a mustard background

About this one.

Pit Pale was the first recipe Dana wrote for the arch and it has changed exactly twice since: once when we switched to a new Citra crop, once when Joe knocked the hop scales over mid-addition and everyone quietly agreed the batch was better.

It pours a hazy gold, smells like a fruit bowl, and finishes dry enough to ask for another. Most weeks it is half of everything we make.
