Two years from the date on the base, in a normal cupboard. There is no preservative in it. The shelf life comes from cooking the food inside a sealed tin, which is the whole reason we use tins.

Yes, and plenty of people do. Feed roughly half the daily amount of each and keep an eye on weight for a fortnight. Wet food alone is better for cats if you can manage it, mostly for the moisture.

Every ingredient is listed on the recipe page, so you can check properly. The most common culprits, wheat, soya and beef, are avoidable: Chicken & Oats, Turkey & Pumpkin and both fish recipes contain none of them.

Complete. Every recipe meets FEDIAF guidelines for a complete food for the species named on the tin, so it needs nothing alongside it. The three cat recipes have added taurine.

From about four months, yes. They eat considerably more for their size, so use the calculator and set the age to under one year. Below four months they should still be on something formulated for weaning.

From your account, any time up to two days before the next box is picked. Change the mix, the size or the date. If you miss the cut off, email us and we will sort it.

Yes, and without a phone call. Skip a single delivery, pause for up to six months or cancel outright. There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee.

Tell us within fourteen days of your first box and we refund all of it. You keep the tins. Most people pass them to a local rescue, and we will find you one if you ask.

Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man and the Scottish islands, yes, but it adds two days and there is a surcharge at checkout. We cannot ship outside the UK because tins are heavy and the carbon maths stops making sense.

The tin is steel and recycles endlessly with no loss of quality. The label is paper. The box is plain cardboard with paper tape. The only plastic in the whole thing is the lid we send with your first box for covering an opened tin.
