A studio of six, led by two
Elowen plans. Margot designs. The four people between them make the days stand up.

Born of a collapsing marquee
We met in 2015, on someone else's job, holding two corners of a marquee that was trying to leave. Elowen was running the event. Margot had dressed it. By the time the wind dropped we had redesigned the whole industry between us, and a year later we registered the company.
The studio sits at 4 Gay Street in Bath, five of us at one oak table and a sixth usually on a train. Since 2016 we have planned more than a hundred and forty weddings in nine countries, and we still keep the rule we started with: three a month, never more.

Elowen Carey
Founder & lead planner
Twelve years of production before this: festivals, then private events, then weddings, which she maintains are harder than festivals. Elowen owns the budget, the schedule and the suppliers, and answers the 6am phone call so you never learn it happened.

Margot Ashworth
Creative director
Trained in set design, seasoned in editorial styling, and still storyboards every wedding like a shoot. Margot decides how a day looks, feels and sits in photographs, then makes it real with a kit that fills a small van.
What we hold to
Three a month
Our diary rule since 2016. Enough weddings to stay sharp, few enough to stay kind.
Suppliers we would rebook
Nobody appears on your quote whom we have not already trusted with someone else's day.
Honest budgets
The first version of the budget is the true one. We would rather lose you early than surprise you late.
