Services & prices
What it costs, before we start
We'll always tell you what it costs before we do it. Every price on this page is a genuine starting price — and for anything bigger, you get an estimate in writing first.
Preventative
-
Vaccination course
£58Two visits covering all core vaccines for puppies or kittens, a full health check at each, and reminders you can actually opt out of.
-
Annual booster
£42Yearly vaccines with a nose-to-tail examination. If we find anything worth watching, you'll leave knowing what it is and what — if anything — to do about it.
-
Flea, tick & worm plan
from £12.50 a monthYear-round parasite cover in monthly doses, weight-checked twice a year and adjusted as your pet grows. Cancel any time, no notice period.
-

When they're poorly
-
Consultation
£38Fifteen minutes with a vet, longer when it's needed. We book realistic gaps between appointments, so nobody feels like they're on a conveyor belt.
-
Blood tests & lab work
from £45Most results come same-day from our in-house lab; the rest within 48 hours. We ring you either way — you never have to chase us for results.
-
X-ray & imaging
from £110Digital x-ray and ultrasound on site, usually done the same day they're recommended. Images shared with you and explained in plain English.
-
Hospital day care
from £60A warm, quiet ward for patients who need fluids, monitoring or simply watching. Cats and dogs are housed separately — everyone is calmer that way.

-
Dental scale & polish
from £180A full scale and polish under anaesthetic with dental charting. If extractions look likely, we ring you with a revised estimate before going ahead.

-
Soft-tissue surgery
from £280Dr Voss holds a certificate in small animal surgery, so complex cases stay here where possible. When a specialist would do it better, we say so and refer.

£30Six-monthly checks for pets over eight: weight, joints, teeth, heart and optional bloods. Little problems get caught while they're still little.
-
Weight clinic

Our price promise
Estimates in writing before any procedure. No surprise invoices.
If a treatment plan changes while your pet is with us, we ring you and agree the new cost before we carry on. That's not a slogan — it's how the diary works.
Pet insurance
We work with every UK pet insurer and complete claim forms free of charge — most direct claims are submitted the same day as treatment.
Not insured? For planned procedures over £300 we offer interest-free instalments over three or six months. Just ask Pat at the desk.
Questions
Asked often, answered plainly
No — you can book a first appointment and we'll register you when you arrive. Registering online first just makes the visit quicker, and earns you 10% off your first appointment.
Yes, happily. Rabbits and guinea pigs make up about a fifth of our patients, and we vaccinate rabbits against myxomatosis and RHD as routinely as we do dogs and cats.
Ring Bath Emergency Vets on 01225 496 999. They're our out-of-hours partner ten minutes away on Rosewell Road, and your pet's clinical notes are shared with them automatically.
For planned procedures over £300 we offer interest-free instalment plans over three or six months. Ask at the desk — the form is one page long.
Always. You'll get a written estimate before any procedure, and if anything changes while your pet is with us we ring you before going ahead. No surprise invoices.
