Approach

Northarc is a 14-person architecture and interiors practice in Bristol, founded in 2011 by Mara Lindqvist and Tom Okafor.

We work on housing, cultural buildings and adaptive reuse, mostly in the South West, at budgets from £400k to £14m. Our method is unglamorous: measure carefully, keep what works, and add only what a building needs to serve its next fifty years. Drawings are our contract with the people who build them, so ours are precise. The work should feel inevitable. If it draws attention, it earns it.
